Application will include resume/cv, a short proposal for research, development or project to include 3 works samples and the name/contact info of 2 professional references. Applications are juried by a rotating group of professionals. Applicants will be selected by the merit of the proposal.

​

Consideration will be given to make sure a secluded, jungle environment is a good fit for an individual's temperament. People who are self-directed, independent, self-reliant, resourceful and who appreciate nature will thrive. Time does flow in a different way, at times things do not unfold according to plan requiring resilience and adaptability.

Sliding scale

Private room $815 - $1,000

Shared room $710 - $900

In our perfect and hopefully not to future world, we will be able to host fully subsidized residencies. At the moment our goal is to keep our fees as low as possible. With a sliding scale the opening is for those with a little more cash resources to help support those with a little less.

If accepted each resident is asked to submit a 50% deposit. Final payment to be made 1 month prior to arrival.

COLLABORATION: Collaborative teams are encouraged. One person can be lead applicant. Resume/cv of each person and work samples are to be included.
